Cyclops (2025), silver, vintage kinetic doll eye

In Greek mythology, the Cyclops was a one-eyed giant and a man-eater. Today, it seems that the Cyclopes are still among us. They wield power, command armies and shape the world around them. Their gaze reaches far, yet their vision remains limited to their own interests. Meanwhile, others pay the price.

As an artist, I prefer to look at things with a sense of humour, even when they feel beyond my control. Sometimes, a little humour can make the unbearable a little easier to bear.
